There is a great commonality between the sacrifice offered by the son of Adam in the first era of humanity and the sacrifice of Imam Husain, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, May Allah’s blessings be upon them.

Allah included the story of Adam’s murdered son in His everlasting Divine Book which is read day and night by all Muslims all over the world all over the time. 

“Revive our issues.” Ahlul-Bayt recommends. “May Allah pour mercy over those who revive our issues!” They supplicate.

Knowing Ahlul-Bayt is knowing their knowledge, hadiths, and the stories of the oppression they encountered in their lives. 

Ahlul-Bayt say: “Study our hadith and teach it to people.”

Ahlul-Bayt urged peots, reporters and writers to report the occurring in their lives in all literary forms possible including historical narration of their stories in the form of poems. 

Ahlul-Bayt’s top story is what happened to Imam Husain. 

Prophet Muhammad said: “Husain is from me and I am from Husain.” 

Habil, son of Adam was killed immediately and murdered alone  and his story is divinely kept forever. Then what about Imam Husain story who witnessed the killing of every member of his companions and family? What about the mercy he expressed and emotions he released for every killing he witnessed?! 

Review the ugliness of the killing of Habil and the killing if Imam Husain. Review the savagery of the killing against each one. Habil was killed in the first era if humanity- no weapons/ no tools of killings. While when Imam Husain killed, can you imagine what sort of preparation had been there taking place? The army of Yezid fought Imam Husain by all sorts of weapons and killed him by all sorts of weapons! All makers of iron, steel, arrows (moreover poisoned)… had been busy for months making the tools of the killing of Imam Husain. 

Sorrow for the loss of Imam Husain burned the hearts of Ahlul-Bayt. 

“My grandfather Husain was slaughtered like a sheep! Perhaps slaughtering a sheep would be less savagery. Butcher waters the sheep before slaughtering it. He makes sure he slaughters it in a second of minute without letting it see the knife in his hands. While Imam Husain kept saying:” Thirst..thirst”

Imam Ali son of Husain saw a camel crying. He asked: Has this camel witnessed the killing of her son? Yes, the man answered. 

The Imam said this camel is like Laila who witnessed the killing of her son Ali al Akbar. 

Imam al Mahdi takes isolation in desert everyday recalling what happened in Karbala scene by scene: “I will cry in the morning and the evening blood instead of tears!” 

A poet addresses Imam al Mahdi saying: “How would you forget the sigh of al Zahra behind the door when she was pressed and her sigh when Husain was beheaded and his lips got blue from dryness and thirsty?! How would you forget your uncle al Abbas?! How would forget your aunts who were taken captives over the imposed caliphate states?!

بمناسبة شهادة القديسة فاطمة بنت محمد عليهما افضل سلام الرب .

هل ذكر الإنجيل مأساة فاطمة بنت محمد ؟؟

في انخطافة روحية تمردت فيها روحه ضد العلائق المادية وحلقت في الأعالي حيث كنوز الرب الدفينة شاهد يوحنا شيئا ارتاع له وبات أنينه يقضّ مضاجع الكروبيم وهو يستمع إلى أنين سيدة السماء من وراء سرادقات الغيب تنينا احمر اللون ينفث نارا وتوعدا وقد انتضى مشعلا تحف به حراشف السوء وهو يضرم النار في بيت القديسة .

في جزيرة صغيرة على شواطئ آسيا في تركيا وفي كهف ضيق من جبال منفاه الذي نفاه إليه الإمبراطور (دومتيانوس) كتب يوحنا رؤياه التي سردها عليه ملك من الملائكة المقربين وهي الرؤيا التي تنبأت بما يحدث على الأرض إلى يوم القيامة.

وقد شهد لصحة هذا السفر نخبة عظيمة من علماء المسيحية منهم : (الشهيد يوستينوس، إيريناؤس، أيبوليطس، ديوناسيوس الإسكندري، ميثوديوس، باسيليوس الكبير، غريغوريوس النزينزي، كيرلس الكبير، جناديوس).
ويقول عن هذا السفر القس تادرس في تفسيرة : ((بكونه سفر نبوي (رؤ 22: 7) وهو السفر النبوي الوحيد في العهد الجديد)). (1)
إذا من ناحية السند والتوثيق فإن هذا السفر نال ثقة الآباء المتقدمين واعتبر السفر النبوي الوحيد في الكتاب المقدس . يقول عنه المفسرون انه يتنبأ عن حقائق جاءت في أعداد ورموز وتشبيهات مستقبلية.
يتنبأ عن حقائق روحيّة سماويّة، لا يعبر عنها بلغة بشريّة، لهذا جاءت في أعداد ورموز وألوان وتشبيهات حملت كلماته معانٍ عميقة، وقف آباء الكنيسة في دهشة أمامها ! وكتب القديس (إيرونيموس) إلى اسقف (أولا) يقول : (إن أسرار سفر الرؤيا كثيرة قدر الفاظها . فكل لفظ يحمل في طياته سرا).

ويقول البابا (ديوناسيوس السكندري) : (مع أنه يحمل فكرا يفوق إدراكي إلا إنني أجد فيه الحاوي لفهم سري عجيب في أمور كثيرة . وبالرغم من عجزي عن فهمه غير إنني لا أزال أؤمن أن هناك معانٍ عميقة وراء كلماته لربما يُدرك سرها في المستقبل الآتي).
إذا من بين كل هذا نفهم أن اسرار هذه الرؤيا تتعلق بالمستقبل وبأشخاص معينين تدور عليهم وقائع واحداث هذه الرؤى ولم ينكر أي احد من هؤلاء بأن هذه الرؤى ليس لها علاقة بالمسيحية بل تتعلق في نهاية الازمنة عند ابتداء حقبة دينية جديدة تحمل ختم السماء .

فماذا يرى يوحنا في رؤياه؟

يرى يوحنا بأن حقبة من الآلام تدور رحاها على امرأة عظيمة جدا لها شأن كبير وهي آية عظيمة من آيات السماء بحيث أن رأسها سوف يكون بين الشمس والقمر والنجوم تحيط براسها مثل اكليل من الورد فيقول كما في سفر رؤيا يوحنا اللاهوتي 12: 1: (( وظهرت آية عظيمة في السماء. امرأة متسربلة بالشمس والقمر تحت رجليها وعلى رأسها اكليل من اثني عشر كوكبا وهي حبلى تصرخ متمخضة لتلد)).
سبحان الرب ما هذه الأوصاف إنها بنت الشمس وزوجة القمر ولها احد عشر ولدا والثاني عشر حبلى به تتمخض على وشك الولادة . ــ نقطعة تحتاج بحث خاص ــ

ملاحظة : الإثنا عشر يبدأون من علي وينتهون بالمهدي . والثالث عشر هو المحسن السقط .

فمن هم الشمس والقمر ؟ ومن هم الثلاث عشر ؟
كيف لي أن أعرف وأن كل عقائدنا تخلو من ذكرٍ لهؤلاء ذهبت يمينا وشمالا سألت حتى كل لساني لا أحد يتكلم .اتجهت إلى المصادر البوذية فلم تسعفني . ذهبت إلى الهندوسية فلم أجد سوى الاصنام والخرافات لم اجد امرأة بهذه المواصفات إلا في ديانة واحدة هي الإسلام . حيث حفلت كتب التفسير والتاريخ والحديث بالكثير  من هذه التفسيرات التي تخلب اللب وتهز المشاعر .
فماذا وجدت ؟
وجدت هذه الرواية التي تقول : الشمس نبي المسلمين، والقمر علي بن ابي طالب
فعن نبي المسلمين قال : (معاشر الناس ! من افتقد الشمس فليتمسك بالقمر .. أنا الشمس وعلي القمر ). (2)
وعن سليمان الديلمي عن أبي عبد الله الصادق قال: سألته عن قول الله عز وجل {وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا}. قال: الشمس رسول الله أوضح للناس في دينهم. قلت {وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَاهَا} ؟ قال: ذاك أمير المؤمنين تلا رسول الله… وروى عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول الله : مثلي فيكم مثل الشمس ومثل علي مثل القمر فإذا غابت الشمس فاهتدوا بالقمر.
إذا أن هذه المرأة العظيمة آية السماء الكبرى هي ابنة هذا النبي وزوجة ذلك الامام الذي ولدت منه إثنا عشر غلاما. ولكن ما هو مصير الابن الثالث عشر . ماذا حدث له ولماذا حول رأسها فقط إثنا عشر كوكبا؟.

يقول يوحنا : ((وظهرت آية أخرى في السماء هوذا تنّين عظيم أحمر لهُ سبع رؤوس وعشرة قرون وعلى رؤوسه سبع تيجان وذنبه يجر ثلث نجوم السماء فطرحها على الأرض والتنين واقف أمام المرأة العتيدة أن تلد حتى يبتلع ولدها)).(3)

تنين أحمر ؟!

من هو هذا التنين الأحمر الذي له سبع رؤوس وعشر قرون وسبع تيجان وهذا وصف لشخص يوصف بالشراسة والعرامة والصرامة فض غليظ حوزتهُ خشناء يغلظ كلمُها ويخشُن مسُها ويكثر العثار فيها فمنى الناس ـ منه ـ بخبط وشماس وتلون واعتراض.

وقوله يجر ثلث نجوم السماء . والثلث واحد من ثلاث ولما كان الحسن والحسين والمحسن ثلاث إذن فإن الثلث هو السقط الأخير. وقد ورد بان الائمة هم نجوم السماء وهم امان للأرض كما أن النجوم أمان للسماء . وسقط المولود الثالث عشر ومات ولكن الله الرب لم يترك مسألة الثأر لهذا القتيل الذي استهل في اول اطلالته للدنيا ولحق بجده العظيم حيث يقول يوحنا بأن الرب هيأ شخصا سوف يأخذ بالثأر من هؤلاء وخصوصا من التنين الأحمر فيقول : أن الله قد عين مسبقا شخصا لكي ينتقم من هؤلاء ويُدين المسكونة بدين الحق وهذا المولود هو من نسل هذه المرأة العتيدة اسمه القائم. (( فولدت ابنا ذكرا عتيدا . أن يرعى جميع الأمم بعصا من حديد ، واختطف ولدها إلى الله وإلى عرشه)) (4) أي أن هذا المولود المهدي بعد ولادته اختطف إلى الله فهو في امانه وحفظه إلى يوم يخرج فيملأها قسطا وعدلا كما ملئت ظلما وجورا . وهذا نفسه قال عنه يسوع : ((عليه سيكون رجاء الامم)) (5)
بعد كل هذا أما آن لنا أن نعرف من هو هذا التنين الأحمر ؟ وماذا تقول عنه روايات المسلمين أنفسهم ؟ فقد ذكر المؤرخون بأن عمر بن الخطاب كان شعره كثيف فيه صهوبة . والاصهب هو المائل للحمرة .
وقال ولده عبد اللـه بن عمر: كان أبي أبيض تعلوه حمرة ، طوالاً ، أصلع ، وقال غيره: كان أمهق – أعْسَرَ وقال أبو الرجاء العطاردي: كان طويلاً جسيماً ، شديد الصلع ، شدة الحمرة ، في عارضيه خفه. (6)
إذا يتبين من ذلك بأن عمر بن الخطاب كان أبيض تعلوه حمره وفي كلام غيره شديد الحمرة . وفي وصف آخر انه كان اصهب والاصهب الذي يميل إلى الحمرة ، أو امهق والأمهق هو وصف التنين كما ورد في المعاجم  وهو لمن يميل لونه للاحمرار .

6- انظر العلامة الحافظ أبو الحسن علي بن محمد المدائني (توفي 244) هـ فيما رواه عن ابن عبد ربه الأندلسي. و وقد أخرج ابن سعد في طبقاته عن القاسم بن محمد قال: سمعت بن عمر يصف أباه عمر يقول: كان رجلا أبيض تعلوه حمرة . وقال الواقدي كان عمر أبيض أمهق، تعلوه حمرة. ولربما استعار الرب كلمة التنين لأن التنين كما في الروايات هو الحيوان الذي ينفُث نارا حارقة . وهذا اشارة إلى قبس النار الذي كان في يد هذا الاحمر الامهق ليحرق به بيت المرأة العتيدة آية السماء .

The Cinema Festival of Imam Husain’s Methodology started yesterday April 1, 2016 in the Holy City of Karbala.
Two-hundred films have been submitted for the festival in its second annual turn.

The festival aims at attracting cinema work and short films and documentaries from around the world to reflect life through Imam Husain’s school of thought including the common universal values like human rights, honesty and reforms.

The festival is organized by the Group of Karbala Satellite TV and sponsored by the Shrine of Imam Husain, peace be upon him.

The General Manager Sayid Haidar Jelowkhan emphasized in his opening speech that “the whole world seems today to be in greater need for Imam Husain inspirational teachings to help solve our planet’s crisis and to push us we human to the Husayni utopia, utopia of our human relations and utopia in our communities.”
Mr Jelowkhan also said “In a world full of crisis, it seems that even world organizations are failing to master solving these crisis. And if it happens and they succeed somewhere, they fail elsewhere whereas people are left suffering.”

Sheikh Dr Monjid al Ka’bi, the spokesperson of the Secretary-General of the Shrine of Imam Husain Sheikh Abd al Mahdi al Karbala’i said that the Administrative management of the Shrine sponsors such festival for its importance in spreading the word of Husain and also to let the world know who is Husain. “The supporter of Husain could be a director!” He said.

The Opening Ceremony was attended by hundreds of Cinema experts, filmmakers and directors from around the region and across Iraq.

The festival is held for 3 days and top submissions will be rewarded in a closing ceremony.

Jabir ibn Hayyan; Scientist and Student

Abu Musa Jabir ibn Hayyan is one of the most prominent Muslim scientists of the early Islamic period. His name has been for many centuries synonymous with utmost authority in alchemy. Jabir was a Shia Muslim and he was disciple of the sixth Shia Imam, Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (as). He is responsible for a number of remarkable treatises in diverse scientific subjects.

Jabir regarded himself as just a spokesman of his teacher’s, Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (as), doctrines. He adopted the method of symbolic and hermeneutic interpretations of material which has been common among the Shia. The numerous works in Jabirian corpus, which according to Paul Kraus some of which include later works of Ismalis also, deal with nearly every subject. To name a few; cosmology, alchemy, astrology, and science of numbers.

“Jabir bin Hayyan is credited with the introduction of experimental methodology into alchemy and the invention of several chemical processes used in modern chemistry. These include crystallization, calcinations, sublimation and evaporation, the synthesis of acids (hydrochloric, nitric citric, acetic and tartaric acids), and distillation using his greatest invention, the alembic (anbaiq). Other achievements included preparation of various metals, development of steel, dyeing of cloth and tanning of leather, varnishing of waterproof cloth, use of manganese dioxide in glass-making, prevention of rusting, and identification of paints and greases. He also developed aqua regia to dissolve gold.” [1]

Jabir acknowledged the works of earlier scholars and alchemists and benefited from them. In this way, he truly regarded the acquisition of knowledge as an ongoing, continuous effort. In this way, he both benefitted from the earlier scholars’ works and adds his own contributions that would together benefit the future scholars. He says:

“Know that successive philosophers have enabled the science of alchemy to profit from a long development and have given it an extraordinary power, thus attaining their end. Arius [precursor of Hermes] was the first of those who devoted himself to this art; starting with him an uninterrupted tradition has come down to us, despite the distant epoch in which he lived.”[2]

In today’s world of artificial intelligence and robotics, there is constant talk of imitating nature and making what nature produces. But not to our surprise, Jabir, a scientist beyond his times, mentions that it is possible:

“…(Arius) appeared and declared that the man possesses the ability to imitate the action of nature. He gave an example of this by reducing the things to their primitive nature. He melted metals and submitted them to perpetual coction, analogous to the perpetual and unchanging coction that nature uses.” [3]

The Jabarian method of alchemy is based upon the idea of balances by which correct proportion of elements is reached. As per him, all alchemical work involves the establishment of the correct proportion of qualities, namely; hot, cold, dry, and moist.

Jabir says: “…the principle of the art was determined solely by the occurrences of natures; it is by the weights or the balance, of the natures that one succeeds in knowing them.Therefore, he who knows their balance, understands all the ways in which they behave, and the manner in which they are composed.” [4]

The use of balance in alchemy implies the existence of correct proportions of the qualities in metals. According to Jabir, each metal has two exterior and two interior qualities. For example, gold is inwardly cold and dry, outwardly hot and humid; while the silver is just the reverse. Silver is hot and humid inwardly, cold and dry outwardly. Each quality has four degrees and seven sub divisions or altogether, 28 parts. According to Jabir everything in the world exists by the number 17, divided into the series 1:3:5:8. The opposing natures of the metals are in the ratio of  either 1:3 or 5:8, or vice versa. [5]

The establishment of the equilibrium or balance of which Jabir speaks depends upon the reduction of elements to their natures, from which the correct proportion of the qualities can be harmonized according to the alchemical balance. Jabir divided materials with which alchemy deals into three classes: each having certain specific qualities based on the predominance of the one of the natures. Firstly, the “spirits” which become completely volatilized into fire. Secondly, the “metallic bodies” which can be hammered, possess a lustre, produce a sound and are not mute like the “spirits” and “bodies”. Lastly, the “bodies” [mineral substances] which cannot be hammered but can be pulverized. Moreover, the “spirits” are five in number: sulphur, arsenic, mercury, ammoniac, and camphor. The metals include: lead, tin, gold, silver, copper, iron, and kharsini (Chinese iron). [6]

In the above classification of the minerals, Jabir is referring to the substance in terms of physical aspects of the things. However, the key to understanding them lies in comprehending the balance of the qualities and in the harmony between the inner and outer aspects of the substances, and  not in the physical aspects of them alone.

The modern theory of acid-base owes its concepts to the Jabir’s Sulfur-mercury theory of  the constitution of the minerals. This theory of sulfur-mercury explains the active (masculine), and passive (feminine) duality upon which all cosmic existence depends.

Jabir laid a great emphasis on experimentation and practical applications. The following remark from him displays this fact:

“The first essential in chemistry is that thou shouldest perform practical work and conduct experiments, for he who performs not practical work nor makes experiments will never attain to the least degree of mastery. But thou, O my son, do thou experiment so that thou mayest acquire knowledge. Scientists delight not in abundance of material; they rejoice only in the excellence of their experimental methods.” [7]
