Inspiring Farming Project in #Japan

Japanese Broadcast TV NHK presents farmer Kiyoko Ojima in Creative Woman documentary for her contribution in going into farming projects and the challenges she faced.
She thought about getting homeless people get engaged in this project. And the all faced the challenges to stay living.
She run a project of three months period in which participants labour for 2 hours each day.
A young participant say: “Before coming here, I used to be at home never getting out. Now, I feel normal.”
The project presents many of Ojimi ideas, for example letting the participants communicate to each other while working.
This project also aims at activating the mental health of the participants and then appreciate farming.

She says in any job, you should communicate with the people you meet, and it is usually hard to communicate with people you meet for the first time. So this project would like to boost communication to move to the next step.

Her project receives 1000 requests for joining per month.
